How does the program work?
There may be some confusion as to how the program
works, so let's try to clear things up. First of all, the
rental rate of the apartment is NOT based on a
percentage of your income; however, there are
income limits that apply to the rental of the
apartments. The limits are derived from a
percentage of the average income level of all
residents who live in your geographic area. Under
the affordable housing program, the maximum
allowable income is based on the total number of
people to occupy your apartment, and the combined
gross annual income of all persons to occupy your
apartment home.
